Sizzling Spring and Summer Trainings Announced
Imagine not being able to read a story to your children or grandchildren. Unfortunately, too many adults know that heartbreak -- but that's how you can help. You can volunteer to become a tutor to help an adult learn to read. The life you change may be your own.
Tutors are on the front lines of MLP. They help deliver the literacy services adults in Macomb County have come to depend on. MLP trains our tutors to equip them with the tools they need to begin helping an adult learn to read.
Tutors often become more than literacy advocates – they become friends and sometimes a lifeline to a new place and culture.
Run2Read is on June 8, 2013 at Stony Creek Metropark!
Start training for our annual 5K & 10K Run and 5K Walk now! Run or walk on a partially shaded trail while taking in the beauty of Stony Creek Metropark. This event is sure to be fun for all. Register online at WWW.R2READ.COM.

Macomb Literacy Partners has many traditions, as do most organizations that have been around for 29 years! One tradition, as predictable as daffodils blooming in spring, is our Annual Stay-at-Home Tea fundraiser. Each year Macomb Literacy Partners asks its supporters to contribute, so that we can continue to provide tutoring services to those who seek to improve their lives, by attaining their literacy, or learning English as a second language. Each year our supporters generously contribute because they agree that Macomb Literacy Partners provides a vital service in Macomb County.
